Jason Marsteiner and Ruben Rodriguez Jr. of The Survival University in Colorado have designed a series of bushcraft ready blades called the Mountain Mettle Series. One of the series is the Gallantry Ginunting which is made for TSU by Condor Tool and Knife. The Gallantry is Filipino style sword that has been adapted by TSU for bushcraft use while retaining its combat ability.

In the spirit of that sword, we are proud to offer a handcrafted polymer trainer by Vulpes. The 16” hand ground blade is matched with a flame treated jute wrapped handle. The jute is infused with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent, phenolic handle wrap. Blade and pommel feature our hand textured wood grain finish.
