Warbonnet Outdoors Fishhooks weigh 3 grams, has a tensile strength of over 1000lbs, and is made from Grade 5 Titanium. Fishhooks are hammock hooks designed for use exclusively with UHMWPE / Dyneema cord and webbing and are used as a lightweight alternative to a full-strength suspension carabiner. If you want to head out for a camping adventure in the woods with a hammock system, make sure you have the appropriate amount of hammock hooks and you know how to set up a rope to an anchor. Two Fishhooks are most common with our becket suspension while whoopie sling users often use either two or four Fishhooks.
The Fishhook is the perfect hammock hook to use on the end of a tree strap or becket strap to quickly and easily clip around the tree. It’s also great for connecting your whoopie slings to the end of your tree straps. Our fishhooks allow you to close the two ends of the ropes together to ensure your hammock is well anchored and you can adjust the rope length easily to fit your height specifications.
The 1000lbs of tensile strength makes the fishhooks suitable for heavy-duty applications while remaining lightweight. These hammock hooks are used only with Dyneema lightweight webbing and Dyneema cord or the ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).
